Eamon Comerford
Eamon Comerford is a senior consultant in Milliman's Dublin office. Eamon joined the Dublin practice in 2010.
Experience
Eamon has experience across a wide range of (re)insurance issues and projects. He has worked on a variety of portfolios of business, including unit-linked business, non-linked business, and variable annuity business.
His expertise includes valuation and financial reporting, Solvency II, IFRS 17, M&A, risk management, and other consulting work.
Eamon leads the Dublin office of Milliman’s research initiatives as chair of the Dublin R&D committee.
He has presented a number of times at Society of Actuaries in both Ireland and Milliman events. He is the author of various publications, including briefing notes and research papers, most recently on the topics of data science, investment strategy, and reinsurance as a capital management tool.
Eamon chairs a Sustainability and Climate Change Steering Group of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland. He has been involved in several other Society committees and working parties, and has also been a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ Non-Traditional Investments Working Party.
