Ryan Cloninger is a pharmacy management consultant with the Milwaukee office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2021.
Ryan brings 15 years of experience in healthcare, finance, and technology, having worked for both Payers and Providers. Before joining Milliman, Ryan worked for Walmart’s Health & Wellness division, focusing on PBM revenue cycle management and profitability. His role involved helping providers design and implement effective contract management solutions. Additionally, Ryan has extensive experience in P&L analysis and management, budgeting and forecasting.
Prior to his tenure at Walmart, Ryan worked for a Health Plan, where he gained extensive experience in facility contracting analytics.
Ryan's current focus at Milliman includes providing guidance in pharmacy contracting strategies, analytical models to support contract negotiations, and contract performance monitoring. Additionally, Ryan's expertise extends to various aspects of the pharmacy supply chain.
