She has expertise with pricing and in-force management, including experience analyses, financial projections, compliance issues, and state insurance department rate filings. Missy also has experience with actuarial appraisals, financial reporting, valuation, and asset adequacy testing.
Missy also has significant experience with predictive modeling long-term care experience. She has been at the forefront, actively speaking at industry conferences and workshops.
Missy has assisted multiple clients with experience analyses and manages Milliman’s firm-level research that utilizes data scientists and predictive analytics to analyze long-term care industry experience to develop first principle assumptions and claim cost guidelines.

Missy is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and author of numerous articles, including “Mechanics and Basics of Long-Term Care Rate Increases” that is required reading on the Society of Actuaries Group and Health Core exam syllabus.
