Stuart Kliternick
Stuart is an actuary in the New York office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2001.
Experience
Stuart has more than 15 years of pension and employee benefit experience, including producing actuarial valuation reports and associated funding calculations for both single-employer and Taft-Hartley pension plans. In addition, he has assisted consultants in benefit improvement studies, plan redesign, and funding projections for contract negotiations.
Stuart provides actuarial support services to pension plans with respect to determining the required contribution rate, and both pension and postretirement benefit expense and liabilities under U.S. GAAP (FASB ASC Subtopics 715-20, 715-30, and 715-60). His responsibilities also include the preparation of employee benefit statements describing the amounts of benefits available from the employer's retirement program, nondiscrimination testing, and annual compliance.
