Shyam Kolli
Shyam is a consulting actuary in the Atlanta office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2010.
Experience
Shyam has experience working on a wide range of health actuarial projects including pricing, reserving, and financial forecasting for both commercial and Medicare products. His clients include employers, insurance companies, and hospital and physician groups.
Prior to joining Milliman, Shyam worked at UnitedHealth Group, where he was involved with provider contract analysis, Medicare Advantage bid development, and group retiree underwriting. Shyam’s recent experience includes:
- Medicare Advantage and Part D bids
- ACA and Large Group rate filings
- Contingency reserve analysis
- Actuarial aspects of annual statement work
- Stop loss pricing
- Provider contract analysis
- Budget and employee contribution development for self-insured employer plan
