Patrick Meghen
Patrick Meghen is a principal in Milliman's Dublin office. Patrick joined the Dublin practice in 2010.
Experience
Patrick has experience across a wide range of (re)insurance issues and projects. He has worked on business portfolios, including unit-linked, non-linked, and variable annuity in both the domestic and cross-border markets.
Patrick has experience fulfilling the Head of Actuarial Function (HoAF/PCF48) role. He has also performed the role of Head of Group Reporting for a large international reinsurance group.
His expertise includes valuation and financial reporting, Solvency II, IFRS 17, M&A, risk management, and other consulting work. Patrick also has experience with software development, working on a number of our compliance and risk tools.

- Bachelor of Actuarial and Financial Studies, University College Dublin
- Patrick has been involved in several Society committees in the past, including membership of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland and chairing the ERM Library Sub-Committee. He has participated in several Society of Actuaries in Ireland working parties and also served as a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ Cyber Risk Investigation Working Party.
