Hector Palacios
Hector Palacios is a relationship manager and a defined contribution plan consultant for Milliman’s Employee Benefits Administration Practice. Hector acts as a business partner and trusted advisor to his clients in this role. In addition, he leads client management and ensures that all administration deliverables exceed his clients’ expectations. Hector joined Milliman in 2020.
Experience
Hector started his career in the financial service industry in 2002. He has provided expertise in risk management, employee benefits and retirement plans to his clients. Before joining Milliman, he worked as a relationship manager for The Standard Insurance. In that role, he worked closely with clients on all aspects of retirement plans—design, administration, operations, investments, education, compliance, and corrective actions.
Hector brings a deep understanding of 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), and defined benefit plans for both for-profit and not-for-profit clients. In addition, Hector’s experience as an English/Spanish bilingual retirement educator and communication consultant allows him to bring clients a unique perspective in his role as relationship manager.
