Rob Pipich
Rob Pipich is a principal and consulting actuary with the Philadelphia office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2006.
Experience
Rob’s expertise is primarily in healthcare, with a focus on Medicare, health reform, and general management.
He has recently led a variety of innovative projects related to Medicare Advantage risk scores. Rob provides ongoing assistance to several clients with benchmarking and measuring cost containment activities. He has also provided support to the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) on ACA-related topics, led the submission of Medicare Advantage bids for multiple medium-to-large insurers, and completed development and support of Milliman's national Medicare Advantage pricing model.
Rob is currently responsible for leading development on the core aspects of the Milliman Ages 65 and Over Health Cost Guidelines, and is involved in a variety of Healthcare Reform and OPEB projects.
Rob's experience also includes expert witness testimony, risk adjustment and selection, product design, consumer-driven healthcare, and actuarial system design, as well as core actuarial applications such as pricing, reserving, and underwriting support.
