Bruce Edwards
Bruce is an actuarial assistant with the Seattle Life practice of Milliman. He rejoined the firm in 2001.
Experience
While working at Milliman, Bruce used MG-ALFA®, Milliman’s pricing and forecasting system, extensively both as a user and as a member of the MG-ALFA support team. He has worked with most US and Japanese life insurance products.
In addition to working with MG-ALFA, Bruce has used SAS and other program languages to model data to create in-force files and to create policy factor files.
The projects he has worked on include demutualization, financial reporting (statutory, GAAP, cash flow testing, and embedded value), pricing of US products, and merger and acquisition work.
Prior to joining Milliman, Bruce worked both as a consultant and at an insurance company in the financial reporting area.
