Neil Hagin
Neil is an actuary with the Albany office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1999. Neil provides actuarial, consulting, and administrative support services for clients with defined benefit pension plans.
Experience
Neil has expertise in actuarial valuations for qualified and nonqualified pension plans under U.S. GAAP (FASB ASC Subtopics 715-20 and 715-30), and international (IAS19) accounting standards. He also has expertise in the areas of pension plan compliance, design, and risk management. Neil has worked with clients on benefit improvement studies, plan redesign, funding projections, nonqualified plan analysis, and plan terminations.
His responsibilities also include reviewing government filings, employee benefit statements, and retirement calculations. His clients have included public entities, hospitals and other not-for-profit organizations, financial services firms, and other corporations.
