Tara Miller
Tara Miller is a consulting actuary with Milliman, working out of its Burlington, Vermont office. She joined the firm in 2017. She works primarily for Vermont- and Bermuda-based clients.
Experience
Tara has more than 15 years of industry experience in property and casualty lines, primarily in commercial lines insurance. Her experience also includes loss reserving, reserve variability, rate filing review, simulation modeling, capital adequacy, and experience monitoring.
Tara has worked extensively on property and casualty consulting assignments, with particular emphasis on captive insurance companies in both the United States and Bermuda markets. These assignments cover loss reserving, ratemaking, captive planning, and feasibility studies. Her expertise includes developing models for pricing and reserving for both standard and specialty casualty lines.
Tara’s clients include traditional property and casualty insurance companies, reinsurers, captive insurance companies, self-insurers, public entities, risk retention groups, risk pools, and municipalities.
