
John Roeger
Experience
John is a lead actuary within Milliman on advising clients on life and annuity mergers and acquisitions and financing structures, as well as other strategic initiatives. He has extensive knowledge on life and annuity products and reserves, valuation techniques, and many other complex issues involving life company transactions.
John has broad international experience as well, including considerable work in Korea, Japan, and the United States, as well as working with large multi-national Canadian and European companies.
John is active in the profession and is a frequent speaker at professional and industry meetings.
He coauthored an extensive research paper on the measurement of the adequacy of margins for principles-based accounting under a cost of capital approach, published by the Society of Actuaries in 2007.
