Experience
Since joining Milliman, Nandan has been involved in a variety of projects:
- Modelling cash flow projections to determine the embedded value of a life insurance company using traditional and market-consistent approach using Excel and VBA macros.
- Modelling and reviewing statutory reserves.
- Model Validation for all product types using Prophet.
- Statistical analysis of the Life Insurance industry in India.
- Market benchmarking exercises
- Building and testing code internally in Prophet.
- Limited experience working on UK based life insurance/pension products.
Prior Experience
Prior to Milliman, Nandan worked with HSBC Technology, India for a year as a Software Engineer in the Financial Crime Risk IT department. He has also served as the Secretary for the 88th edition of the annual boat festival, Regatta.
