Laird Zacheis
Laird is a principal and consulting actuary with the Chicago office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1991.
Experience
Laird specializes in the area of mergers and acquisitions involving life insurance companies. He has consulted for buyers or sellers in a majority of the significant transactions in the United States since the early 1990s, consisting of more than 60 transactions with a total value in excess of $100 billion. His consulting includes transactions structured around reinsurance, use of reserve financing captives and offshore solutions, and cross-border acquisitions.
Laird also provides consulting services in the areas of financial planning and capital management, U.S. GAAP issues including Purchase GAAP, and strategic planning.
