Enhancing Oncology Model (EOM): OCM “2.0”
Providers that are interested in participating in CMMI’s recently announced Enhancing Oncology Model (EOM) will have to take on financial accountability for certain chemotherapy care for Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) patients. EOM builds on CMMI’s recently completed Oncology Care Model, with the aim of generating savings for the Medicare FFS program while enhancing the care provided to oncology patients.
