One way that carriers attempt to differentiate themselves from their competition in the supplemental insurance market is to leverage technology in a variety of ways. As such, the use of technology in the supplemental insurance market is quickly changing and expanding. We developed a brief survey in November 2023 to gather information on worksite products regarding benefit administration systems, technology fees, and the RFP process. This report provides a summary of the survey responses from 30 carriers in the supplemental insurance market.
