We are excited to introduce a white paper series entitled "Navigating the Intersection: Dual-Eligible Beneficiaries." The series is designed to provide an in-depth exploration of the complexities and challenges faced by states and payers related to individuals who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid, known as dual-eligible beneficiaries. In this first paper, we give an overview of dual-eligible membership, including its history, eligibility criteria, and the benefits available to dual-eligible beneficiaries.
