Prudential Malaysia has adopted Milliman Mind as a robust replacement for the traditional Excel spreadsheets, with the primary aim of supporting the internal modelling requirements referenced to build calculation in the production system.

Since its implementation in 2021, the Milliman Mind has significantly improved our product development processes. Its superior computational capabilities have notably reduced runtime as compared to Excel system performances with heavy projection or looping iterations. It offers dynamic calculation capabilities with the convenience of navigating between different dimensions or parameters between calculations. This effectively addressed the limitations of Excel, which is confined only to two dimensions and requires VBA macros for loop extensions.

The adoption of Milliman Mind has increased our work efficiency through the substantial reduction in runtime, stable environment and system resource management. Milliman is also committed towards continuous improvements through annual client feedback discussion, which aims to enhance their offerings based on user experiences and needs."
