Tim E. Hill

Timothy E. Hill is a consulting actuary with Milliman’s Chicago office. He has been with the firm since 1998.

Tim primarily works with clients to help design and price a wide variety of annuity and life insurance products. Recent projects include extensive work on variable annuity guarantees (death benefits, income benefits, withdrawal benefits, and account value guarantees), immediate variable annuities (including payout floors), fixed index annuities and universal life, variable life insurance, universal life with secondary guarantees, and survivorship life insurance.

Tim has also been driving predictive modeling efforts including stream-lining underwriting, predicting mortality experience and targeted product marketing.

Tim also frequently assists clients with litigation support efforts. He has been involved in numerous Universal Life-related cases and a variety of annuity cases. Tim has been asked to complete the challenging task of reconstructing models for older policies based on industry knowledge and often incomplete specifications.
